Mission statement
Aim of the group is to characterize novel anti-inflammatory natural compounds (from plants and microorganisms) and to elucidate their underlying molecular mechanisms. Natural compounds are not only exploited as valuable leads for drug discovery, but also serve as chemical tools to identify and validate new, interesting drug targets.
